Our Story
Centuries ago, the master weavers of the Saurashtra region set out on a journey that carried not just their families, but also their art, hundreds of miles south to Tamil Nadu. With them came the secrets of silk: shimmering threads, vibrant colors, and designs that told stories of their land.
Welcomed by kings and nurtured by tradition, they became known as the Patnūlkarar, the silk-thread people.
